About Us

Career

Greg spent his formative business years in the world of call centres and customer service provision. Overseeing projects for General Motors and American Express he learnt the complexities of service provision in multiple markets, the importance of water tight processes and how it is imperative to keep customers informed as to what is going on. An Arabic graduate and native Italian Speaker, Greg has worked and lived in Germany, Belgium and North Africa. Following a stint as a management consultant he seized the opportunity to be part of a BT founding team setting up an Audio and Web Conferencing business in North America. Holding roles of both VP of Operations and VP of Product Management, he was part of a team that in 4 years grew from nothing to 350 people and a client base that included Cisco, Intel and Merrill Lynch. Bringing his family back to the UK in 2005, Greg joined a small technology start up, Email Systems and was part of the team overseeing it's growth and eventual merger with US IT security heavyweight, Webroot. As founder of Kalibazar, this represents Greg's third entrepreneurial start up.

Sporting Achievements:

A sporting generalist, Greg has played National League volleyball and represented Suffolk Schools at cricket. Now a mediocre second or third string wicket keeper, club cricket competes alongside cycling and a hefty coaching schedule.

Career

At Kalibazar Ned is responsible for all operational aspects of the business. He is tasked with ensuring that all garments are shipped to appropriate timescales and to the required embroidery and design standards. One of his particular strengths lies in the area of graphical design, where he has assisted many Kalibazar customers in the redesign or design creation of club logos. Beyond cricket clubs, Ned has also digitised designs for a number of Premiership football clubs, Premiership Rugby clubs and UK Athletics. Prior to joining Kalibazar, Ned worked as a community sports coach giving him first hand experience of the challenges involved in running grass roots sports clubs. Throughout his secondary and university education Ned was continuously involved in design, something that kept him current with much of the software available on the market. Today, Ned is tasked with keeping Kalibazar at the forefront of new technology adoption.

Sporting Achievements

Ned was keen on all sports in his early years but focused on Cricket and Hockey after secondary school, he was a trialist at Hampshire County Cricket Club and played regularly for Dorset. He now enjoys club cricket but often links up to train with Surrey CC’s academy side.

Career:

A chartered accountant with 20 years experience in both the public and private sector Jeff has specialised in technology start-ups, MBOs, acquisitions and mergers, most recently in SaaS and internet security businesses. Jeff grew up in Gloucestershire a stone's throw from Downend Cricket Club and the home of WG Grace, passing many summer afternoons as far from the action as the tiny boundary would allow.

His enjoyment has always far outranked any ability at cricket, hockey and especially rugby, but, as Max Boyce would say, he was there at the Arms Park to watch that try scored by Gareth Edwards for the Barbarians against the All Blacks in 1973.
